Todd Milfeld and Lance and Lori Sprenkel of Farmington, Mo., are please to announce the engagement of their daughter, Briley Milfeld, to Jimmy Palmer, son of Paul and Susan Palmer of Olive Branch, Miss.
Briley is the granddaughter of the late Kenny Mell and Jackie Jarnigan of Farmington, Mo., and Paul and Margaret Boyer of Festus, Mo. Briley graduated in 2007 from Farmington High School. The future bride played college basketball at both Mineral Area College and Christian Brothers University (Memphis, Tenn). Briley has a Bachelor’s Degree in English in Corporate COmmunication from Christian Brothers and finishing her Masters of Education Degree at Central Methodist University. She is currently working at Mineral Area College as the assistant women’s basketball coach and a sales representative for Skeeter Kell Sporting Goods.
Jimmy is the grandson of Rachel and the late Jim Scott of Columbus, Miss., and Faye and the late Charles Palmer of Columbus, Miss. Jimmy graduated in 2008 from Hernando High School in Hernando, Miss. He then went on to play college basketball at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn., where he graduated in 2012 with a Business Marketing Degree. Jimmy is currently teaching fifth grade at West Elementary in Park Hills, Mo., and finishing up his teaching certificate in methematics. He is also the assistant basketball coach at Central High School in Park Hills, Mo.
Briley and Jimmy will exchange vows on October 4, 2014, in a ceremony at New Heights Church in Farmington, Mo.
