Lady Tigers post eighth win in nine games

LEADWOOD — Anna Thomas scored 17 points and Briar Johnson netted 14 to lead Arcadia Valley in a 63-29 victory at West County on Thursday night.

Arcadia Valley (9-4) jumped ahead 19-7 after one quarter, and limited West County (7-5) to just seven second-half points.

Kristen Williams matched Savannah Price with nine points each, and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Megan Williams contributed eight points and six assists to the win. The Lady Tigers made 15-of-22 free throws and committed only nine turnovers.
