Lady Indians fall at Clearwater after forcing OT

PIEDMONT, Mo. — Junior guard Kallie Pearl knocked down a tying 3-pointer with five seconds left in regulation, and a spirited effort nearly sent Bismarck to a huge road victory on Monday night.

Clearwater gained control in overtime, however, and utilized 36 points from all-state performer Lexi Morris to salvage a 62-56 win.

Jessica Sago compiled 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Alyssa Sago scored 16 for the Lady Indians (7-6).

Pearl finished with 10 points after her timely triple produced a 54-54 tie with the fourth quarter winding down.

Bismarck will host Kingston in a conference game on Thursday.
