January Student of Month

The Farmington Elks Lodge #1765 is proud to announce that the Farmington High School Student of the Month for January is Rebekah Sutherland. Rebekah is the daughter of Miriam and Kraig Sutherland of Farmington. Her honors and awards include membership three-year All-District Choir member, First runner-up Sweetheart Queen, All-Conference Soccer Honors, Small Ensemble State Choir honors, and Co-Webmaster of Internationally Award Winning Website.

Organizations she has been involved include the Venturing Crew—president 2013-14; A Cappella Choir —treasurer 2012-14; National Honor Society —public relations officer 2013-14 and Team Captain of the 2013-14 F.H.S. Soccer and Softball Teams. She has also been a four-year member of the Student Council, Key Club, FCA, F.H.S. soccer and softball teams. She is a three-year member of the Girls Only Science Club, Choraliers Choir, A Capella Choir, St. Paul Lutheran Church Choir and Handbell Choir and the Praise Band as a Guitarist.

After graduation from high school Rebekah plans to attend a four-year university and major in Business Administration and Marketing. As Student of the Month, Rebekah will receive a $100 grant and will compete for the Farmington Elks Farmington High School Student of the Year to be awarded in May.
