Fredericktown now has online pay option

Madison County

The Fredericktown Utility Department is now officially set up to accept payments online.

Ashley Baudendistel, billing clerk, said customers could go to the city’s new website and register.

“Customers have to have their exact information in order to be found in the system,” Baudendistel said. “After they register their information they have to set up with a user name and password. Then it will bring up all their information. Customers can look up all their information from the past 36 months.”

The online bill pay can accept credit cards and in the next couple of months will be able to accept echecks.

Baudendistel said the utility bills still have the same due dates and the cut off date is the same.

She added, “We are so excited to have the online bill now. We have been working on this for six months and it is up just in time for the new month to start.”
