Robert Klob
PARK HILLS — Robert August Klob, 74, of Charlack, Missouri, passed away February 20, 2014, at his residence. He was born January 29, 1940, in St. Francois County to the late Everett and Hester (Boyer) Klob. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose (Bay) Klob; two sisters, Helen Tripp and Ruby Halpin.
Mr. Klob was a member and Deacon of the Christ Memorial Baptist Church. He was a three time Past Master of the Overland Lodge #623, and a Past Master of the Bridgeton Masonic Lodge #80. Mr. Klob had dual membership with Overland Lodge #623 and the Bridgeton Masonic Lodge #80. His dedication to the Masonic Lodge went far past his regular duties; he was members of the MOCHIP Program, Missouri, Order of The Eastern Star, Swords Of Bunker Hill, Job’s Daughters, Charlie’s Angels Degree Team, and the Shriner’s Lodge.
Mr. Klob is survived by one daughter, Vicki (Bob) Beck of St. Charles; granddaughter, Laurie (Sean) Leary of St. Peters; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Rose Leary; one sister, Edith Holst of New York.
Visitation will be Sunday February 23, 2014 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014, at the Caldwell Chapel with Pastor Dave Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bridgeton Masonic Lodge or Missouri Department of Conservation.
