Hunters crush Perryville with first-quarter shut-out

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve did not allow a single point in the first quarter by the Perryville Lady Pirates which resulted in the Hunters running away with the game by a 51-29 score.   

Paige Porter pulled off a double-double to lead the Hunters in scoring and rebounding with 14 points and 10 boards. Katie Palmer scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Maggie Flieg and Maddison Reynolds both scored eight points.

Ste. Genevieve, now 12-14 will play next in the opening round of the Class 4 district tournament.
