Ronald Hintze
FARMINGTON — Ronald Earl Hintze of Bismarck passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at the age of 77. He was born on October 29, 1936, at St. Louis, son of the late Erwin Christopher Hintze and Wilda Marie (Rodenbeck) Hintze. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hintze.
Ron as most knew him, was raised in St. Louis where he attended school. He began his career early in life with Hussman Refrigeration where he became interest with electrical work. He went on to become a journeyman electrician and worked for many years in commercial construction. He was a long time member of IBEW Local 1, Masonic Lodge #154 in Desloge, ECMO Shriners, and the Farmington Elks Lodge 1765. Ron was family man who loved spending time having fun with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed helping with any building projects the family had. He will be remembered for being a generous person who helped out whenever needed.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeannine (Schaper) Hintze; son, Kevin Hintze, daughters, Kimberly (Bruce) Pulley, all of Bismarck and Kathy (Daniel) McNail of Farmington; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and a host of extended family and friends.
Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 3 from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday morning at 7 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.
