Planning and Zoning administrator fired
City Administrator Martin Toma made the determination to terminate Brenda Schloss from the position of Planning and Zoning administrator.
He declined to comment on the reasons behind the decision, saying that it’s a personnel matter subject to confidentiality.
Toma and Building Inspector Jimmie Jones will take on the workload assigned to Schloss while deciding on a plan of action regarding a replacement.
The planning and zoning administrator in Ste. Genevieve is responsible for enforcing city codes related to land use ordinances such as zoning, signs, historic preservation, and subdivision regulations.
