Daniel ‘Boone’ Miller

FARMINGTON — Daniel F. “Boone” Miller of Farmington, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center at the age of 61 years. He was born January 24, 1953, at Farmington, son of the late Kenneth Francis and Ruth Evelyn (Martin) Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Jordan Herron and a brother Stephen Miller.

Boone was a self-employed carpenter and farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to live life on his own terms. He loved kids, particularly his own grandchildren and was proud of each one of them.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him, including his wife Patricia Ann (Politte) Miller, daughter Terri Herron of Farmington, and son Aaron (Ellen) Miller of Farmington, five grandchildren, Alexis, Kayla, Aliyah, Bayli and Sutton, four brothers Randy (Debbie) Miller of Fredericktown, Doug (Nancy) Miller of Farmington, Don (Connie) Miller of Lansing, Kansas, and Nathan Miller of Farmington, three sisters, Elaine Giessing of Farmington, Mary (Danny) Fitzgerald of Farmington, and Sandy (Mike) Cash of Springfield and numerous other relatives, friends, and neighbors.

All of Boone’s family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at his home located at 2276 Old Fredericktown Road, Farmington, MO 63640. Donations to the American Cancer Society may be made to his memory and in honor of his wife Pat. Arrangements are under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
