Nancy Gale (Jones) Wilson

Nancy Gale (Jones) Wilson, 61, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her home in Silva. She was born August 27, 1952 in Graniteville, Mo., the daughter of Arthur “Woody” Woodrow and Earlene (Porter) Jones.

She married Waynne Wilson April 17, 1976 in Bismarck.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Virgil “Pete” Jones; an infant sister, Patsey Jones and infant great-nephew, Dillon Brinkley.

Survivors include her husband; sister Cindy Brinkley of Bismarck; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Nancy had been deputy sheriff in St. Francois County, Butler County and McGee, Ark. She later started long-distance truck driving. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Wilson Funeral home with Elder Mike Hagerty officiating. Burial was at the Layne Cemetery in Elvins.
