Golda Lucille Ratcliff
Golda Lucille Ratcliff, 84, of Donnellson, Iowa, formerly of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 surrounded by family and care givers of Donnellson Heath Center. She was born April 30, 1930, the daughter of John and Anna Elizabeth (Bell) Since in Flat River, Mo.
She married Melvin Ratcliff March 29, 1947.
Mrs. Ratcliff was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Gilbert Since; sister-in-law Mary Opal Since, whom she referred to many times as the sister she never had; and great-grandson Colten Francis.
Survivors include daughters Bonnie (Bob) Anspach of Montrose, Iowa, Sara (Harry) Francis and Jennie Miller of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Tonya Head of Lexington, Kent., Bobby Anspach of Stevens Point, Wisc., Eric Francis and Aaron Francis of Fredericktown, and Amy Rauls of Tuttle, Okla.; nine great grandchildren and two nephews.
Golda enjoyed bowling, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her most rewarding accomplishment in life was accepting Jesus as her Savior June 28, 1987. She was a member of Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Shirley Royer and Pastor Chuck Pilkinton officiating. Burial was in WoodlawnCemetery, Leadington, Mo. Pallbearers were Bob Anspach, Bobby Anspach, Harry Francis, Eric Francis, Aaron Francis, Caleb Miller, and Keith Myers.
