How to stay safe in severe weather

Thursday May 22, the University of Missouri Extension will be hosting a free program on How to Stay Safe in Severe Weather. Topics addressed include planning and preparing for severe weather, weather radio tuning, and step-by-step assembly of an emergency kit. A packet of local emergency contact information will be given out as well. Please bring your home weather radios for tuning. The class is free, but registration is preferred by calling 573-783-3303.

The program will be at at 6:30 p.m., at the Madison County Extension Center at 137 West Main Street in Fredericktown.
