Cardinals game and first pitch auction to support United Way

Tickets are on sale for the United Way of St. Francois County Night at Busch Stadium July 10. The money raised goes toward the $180,000 the United Way Board has pledged to award in grants in early 2015.

The field level tickets are being sold for only $15, but are valued at $59. The game is between the Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, July 10, starting at 6:15 p.m.

The tickets may be purchased at KFMO/B104, First State Community Bank locations in Downtown Farmington, Downtown Park Hills, Desloge, and Bonne Terre, Hub’s Pub and Grill in Bonne Terre, Mike’s Market in Bismarck, chamber of commerce offices in Bonne Terre, Desloge, Farmington and Park Hills-Leadington and at the United Way office at 739 E. Karsch Blvd. Five hundred field level tickets are available in Sections 169-172.

The game isn’t the only attraction for Cardinals fans. In addition, the United Way is auctioning off the chance to throw out the first pitch at that game during an all-day on-air auction at KFMO/B104 on June 27. All of the money raised through the on-air auction will go to United Way of St. Francois County in support of grants to agencies.

KFMO/B104 and First State Community Bank (FSCB) are key sponsors of the event. FKMO/B104 is donating half of all ticket proceeds to United Way, as well as the highest bid from the first pitch auction. FSCB is donating funds to United Way to support the promotion of the game, as well as selling tickets at four locations.
