Richard Eugene Mills

PARK HILLS – Richard Mills, 68, of Park Hills, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Country Meadows in Park Hills. He was born Saturday, December 15, 1945, in Bonne Terre. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns of all kinds and loved participating in the shooting matches at the “67 Gun Club” where he was a member.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus Mills.

Richard is survived by his mother, Wanda (Moore) Mills; sons, Mark Mills and wife Melissa of Farmington and Lance Mills and wife Kim of Park Hills; grandchildren, Sarah Gamlin and husband Ben, Jessica Mills, Mackenzie Mills, Conner Mills, Paige Turley, Dylan Turley; great-grandchildren, Faith Gamlin and Alexia Gamlin; brothers, Terry Mills and wife Pam of Park Hills and Gary Mills and wife Judy of Desloge.

The family will welcome friends beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, until the time of the Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills with full Military Honors. The Rev. Howard Gillam will be officiating the service. Memorials can be directed to the St. Francois County Relay for Life.
