Fundraiser planned for local man
A fundraiser for Roger Twomey of Fredericktown is planned for 9 a.m., June 14, at the Hillbilly Auction Service (DD Highway), in Knob Lick.
Three years ago, Roger was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He received a stem cell transplant in 2012 and is now suffering from graft versus host disease (GVHD) as a result of the transplant. To stop the GVHD, Roger’s doctor recommended a treatment, which is very costly.
