Killian completes Masters

Gabriel J. Killian, son of Bill and Donna Killian, recently completed his Masters in International Sustainable Tourism, which is a joint degree between University of North Texas and Centro Agronomico Tropical de Investigacion (CATIE).

CATIE is in Turrialba, which is in the central valley region of Costa Rica. Gabriel studied Sustainability at the international policy level at UNT and then Sustainable Development at the community and regional level through CATIE. The program focused on tourism development because of its role as the leading GDP producer for developing nations globally.

Gabriel graduated May 9 and is currently doing consulting work for sustainable and social entrepreneurs. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Park, Recreational and Leisure and a second Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
