Naomi Mae Hinkle
Naomi Mae Hinkle, 88, of Marquand, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 26, 1926 at Trace Creek in Madison County, the daughter of Elva Lewis and Jewell Evelyn (Clayton) Kelley.
Mrs. Hinkle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James “Bud” Hinkle; one brother; three sisters; son Roger Hinkle; grandchildren Connie (Hinkle) Williams, Timothy Hinkle, James Hinkle; and great granddaughter Samantha Reynolds.
Survivors include children Larry (Barb) Hinkle of Fredericktown, Gale (Janey) Hinkle of Fredericktown, Janet (Elvis) Chamberlain of Farmington, Jerry Hinkle of Bismarck, Donna (David) McCutcheon of Marquand, Sandy (Jim) Starkey of Marquand, Darrell (Bev) Hinkle of Fredericktown, Donald (Nicole) Hinkle of Michigan, and Paula Dyer of Farmington; 23 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister Shirley Clinard of Cedar Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
Naomi loved spending time with her family and cooking large meals for everyone to enjoy. No one ever left her house with an empty stomach or an empty heart because her love for the Lord she shared with everyone.
Funeral services were Friday, July 11, 2014 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Claude Fields and Bro. Jeff Fields officiating. Burial was in Revelle Cemetery.
