Dale L. Settle

Dale L. Settle, 63, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. He was born March 2, 1951 in Zion, Mo., the son of Floyd and Ruby (Henson) Settle.

Mr. Settle was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Janet Settle of Warner Robins, Ga.; son Tim (Andrea) Settle of Alberqueque; daughter Nancy (Rex) Griffin of Leavenworth, Kan.; stepchildren Kimberly (Harold) Pilgrim of Locust Grove, Ga., Steven (Ashley) Pike of Kathleen, Ga., Brittany Pike (Tray Hall, fiancée) of Warner Robins; eleven grand-children; brothers Gary Settle of Arnold, Terry Settle of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lilbourn, Larry, and Keith Settle, all of Fredericktown; sisters Sandra Hicks of Fredericktown and Theresa Barnett of St. Louis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Communications Division retiring, with the rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring he worked as a manager at Lowe’s in Warner Robins for seventeen years. Dale was a member of Central Baptist Church of Warner Robins. In his free time, he enjoyed tennis, golf, NASCAR, and, most of all, spending time with his family.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Inurnment was July 23, 2014 in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins.
