Kenneth Douglas

FARMINGTON — Kenneth Arlen Douglas of Farmington passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center at the age of 80 years. He was born January 16, 1934, at Desloge son of the late Lee and Callie (Worley) Douglas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judith (Hoffstetter) Douglas.

Kenneth grew up in the Parkland Area and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a retired Finance Officer having worked for several different financial institutions. He was a member of American Legion Post 416 and the Farmington Elks Lodge 1765.

He is survived by his son Mark W. Douglas of Farmington and numerous other relatives, good friends and neighbors.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Monday, August 18, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with an Elks memorial service to be held at 6:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Ben Durbin officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at a later date.
