East Central Missouri Cattlemen’s Association picnic Saturday

The East Central Cattlemen’s Association will hold its 14th Annual Cattlemen’s Picnic on Saturday at the Ste. Genevieve County Fairgrounds.

The picnic will begin at noon with a ribeye meal prepared by the East Central Cattlemen. The meal is $5 with a reservation at 573-756-4539 or $10 at the door. Following the meal, Kevin Yeager with Zoetis will speak about the DNA testing and Jon and Mary Ann Turner and Kenny Graham will talk about heifer retention and development. A drawing will be held for a free on year membership to the Missouri Cattleman’s Association. This year’s ECCA scholarship winners will also be recognized.

The ECCA would like to extend its thanks to Rolling Fields Cattle Company, Kevin Yeager with Zoeatis, and Plank Road Beef for sponsoring this year’s picnic. They help to make the event very affordable.
