Kelley named BHS ‘Student of the Month’

Jamey Kelley has been chosen Bismarck High School “Student of the Month” for the month of September by Farmington Elks Lodge No. 1765.

She is the daughter of Michael and Michelle Kelley and is on the school honor roll. She has perfect attendance and is the recipient of numerous awards in volleyball and softball.

Kelley is senior class president, FCA president and serves as secretary of student council and the National Honor Society. She is also captain of both the volleyball and softball teams. She plans to pursue her associate of arts degree at Mineral Area College and then transfer to a four-year college to pursue a degree in biology.

As student of the month, she received a $200 savings bond and will compete for the Farmington Elks Student of the Year to be awarded in May.
