Two injured in one vehicle accident

Two Bonne Terre residents were injured a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon around noon on Route C in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report 62-year-old Brenda Richardson was traveling west on Route C in her 2002 Mercury Sable when she ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and returned to the road, then traveled off the left side of the road and overcorrected again traveling off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Richardson received moderate injuries and was airlifted by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital Creve Coeur. Her passenger, 24-year-old Adam Richardson, received minor injuries and was taken to Parkland North by St. Francois County Ambulance. 

Both were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
