Local man dies in ERDCC

An inmate at the ERDCC in Bonne Terre died Saturday morning of “apparent natural causes.”

Lester “Zeke” Chamberlain, 63, of Doe Run, was serving a six-year sentence for DWI in St. Francois County.

Chamberlain entered the Missouri Department of Corrections on Oct. 3, 2013.
