Halloween Hustle 5K for charity

The Farmington Recreational Department and the Centene Corporation will be hosting the 2014 Halloween Hustle 5K and 1Mile Mustache Dash at 9 a.m. October 25.

With a Halloween motif in mine, participants for both runs are encouraged to wear a costume during the event with prizes going to the best costume and mustache.

Medals will be given for first and second place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: ages 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and up.

There is a $20 registration fee for the 5K race before Oct. 17. The fee will increase to $25 after Oct 17. All proceeds for the event will benefit the Farmington Senior Center.
