Maples gets 15 years
A Farmington man has pleaded guilty to child molestation.
Circuit Court Judge Kenneth W. Pratte recently sentenced Roger Maples, 44, of Farmington, to 15 years in prison for two Class B felonies of child molestation.
According to court records two children told authorities that Maples had touched them inappropriately.
In other cases, Deric Bacon, 33, of Fredericktown, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the probation he received for failure to pay child support.
Sharon Hamelback, 52, of Farmington, was sentenced to seven years in prison for violating the probation she received for four counts of forgery.
James Black Sr., 40, of Bonne Terre, was sentenced to seven years in prison for violating the probation he received for three counts of possession of a chemical with intent to make meth.
Gregory Paul Kennon, 35, of Farmington, was sentenced to three years in prison for fraudulent use of a debit device.
Placed on five years of supervised probation were Betty Jean Burton, 28, of Fredericktown, for forgery; Allison Hayes, 26, of Perryville, for attempted manufacture and possession of meth; Bruce Craig Hubbard, 55, of Bonne Terre, for driving with a revoked license; Michael Barnhouse, 33, of Ironton, for failure to pay child support; Edward Lowery III, 31, of Festus, for failure to pay child support; Charles B. Pratt, 37, of Wappapello, for failure to pay child support; Coda L. Walters, 31, of Doe Run, for failure to pay child support; Aaron K. Blatner, 34, incarcerated on other charges, for attempted manufacture of meth; Robert J. Madden, 32, of Farmington, for failure to pay child support; Richard Hellebusch, 29, of Park Hills, for stealing; and Jeremiah Jackson, 36, of Farmington, for driving with a revoked license.
Donovon Grissom pleaded guilty to failure to pay child support. He will be sentenced in December.
