Norma Thomure Porzeinski

FARMINGTON — Norma Thomure Porzeinski of Delassus passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at the age of 47. She was born September 9, 1967, in Fredericktown to the late William O. and Shirley (Barnes) Thomure. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Thomure and her grandparents.

Norma grew up in Delassus and attended school in Farmington. She went on to obtain her CMA and was a long time employee of Farmington Manor. She was a devoted member of Abundant Life Family Church of Farmington. A very hard worker, Norma enjoyed going on local road trips and seeing the countryside. She was a loyal friend to many and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Heather Porzeinski; sisters, Barb, Mary, Dorothy and Pam; brothers, Bill, Fred and Paul; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving are many good friends.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 23, from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1:30 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Rev. Rick Hensley officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
