North County Raider Regiment 9-Pin No Tap

The North County Band Boosters are hosting a North County Raider Regiment 9-Pin No Tap bowling fundraiser Saturday evening at the Family Fun Center in Bonne Terre.

Band Boosters Treasurer Kathy Stegall said in a 9-pin no tap you have to knock down nine pins instead of the traditional 10 in order to get a strike.

“There will be door prizes and a 50/50 which all of the proceeds will go to the North County band,” said Stegall. “At the last 9-Pin No Tap we had about 25 people attend, but this year we are expecting 45 to 50 to show up.”

Some of the door prizes will include a Panera gift card, auto detail from Redfield Collision Center, a Meineke gift card, and Pro-Care gives items to give away such as oil changes and other prizes from area businesses.

The participant with the highest score in the adult division and the one with the highest score in the kids division will get a prize.

It’s $25 for adults and $15 for kids, which includes three games of bowling. Registration starts at 6 p.m. and bowling will start at 7 p.m.

All the proceeds from the North County Raider Regiment 9-Pin No Tap will benefit the band with their trips and lunches throughout the year.
