Leadership of two communities to meet

The elected leadership of two neighboring communities will meet for regular monthly sessions this evening.

The Leadington Board of Aldermen meet at 6 p.m. in the municipal building, 12 Weir St.

In new business, the board has on its agenda to discuss and consider the following topics: Missouri Rural Services membership; MoPerm Insurance; Maloney, Wright & Robbins; chamber of commerce membership; MoDOT; the city audit; and the annual statement.

Meetings of the Leadington Board of Aldermen are open to the public.

The Park Hills City Council will meet at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.

Listed under new business is Bill #1125, an ordinance authorizing the mayor to approve the purchase of playground equipment, a proclamation recognizing Main Street Grill – Mayor’s Pride Award and Bill #1126, an ordinance amending the budget for fiscal year 2014- 2015.

Under unfinished business is Bill #1122, an ordinance amending Chapter 215 of the municipal code and resolution #151, a resolution to authorize the purchase of a parcel on Large Street for storm water and drainage.

Council members should also hear a report from City Administrator Matt Whitwell.

The meeting is open to the public.
