Jefferson Elementary celebrates with Grand Knight
With Christmas season upon us, what better way to spend some quality time with grandma and grandpa then reading a book at your school over milk and cookies and maybe a visit from Santa Claus.
For the students at Jefferson Elementary, “Grand Knight” was exactly that type of evening…time for students to gather with a love one, show off their school and enjoy a few a moments with each other.

Jefferson Elementary first grader T.J. Jent spends some time having cookies and milk with his grandparents, Mary Jane and Peter Bryan at “Grand Knight” on Friday evening. Friday evening was the first time the T.J.’s grandparents have been able to attend any of the festivities at his school since they have been living in Equador for the last four years.

Richard Skinner gets a hug from his grandpa, Anthony Skinner during “Grand Knight” on Friday. The grandson and grandfather team were standing in line to visit with Santa and planned on enjoying some refreshments afterwards.

Second grader Olivia Corcoran sits with her mom, Tracie Armoneit and her dad, Chris Corcoran during “Grand Knight.”

Terry and Patty Web have not missed a chance to spend time with their grandson Gavin Eaton at any grandparent event at Jefferson Elementary and Grand Knight was not going the first. The two enjoy spending time with their grandson and look forward to spending time with him at his school.

Grandmothers Bess Ann Banister (at left) and Carol Botkin got to spend time with their granddaughters Brenna Botkin and Joce Cunningham during “Grand Knight” at Jefferson Elementary.
