Betty Mae Louise Koehler
BONNE TERRE — Betty Mae Louise Koehler, 83, of French Village passed away February 5, 2015, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus. She was born June 19, 1931, in Canalou, Mo. Betty and her late husband Joseph owned and operated the French Village Market for over 20 years. She was a lifetime member of the Leadington VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to crochet, play bingo and slot machines and watch the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Elsie Butler; husband, Joseph Koehler; two daughters, Betty Hanks and Pamela “Jeannie” Rulo.
Betty is survived by four children, Danny Ray (Charlene) Durbin, Barb Webb, Jimmy (Celerina) Durbin, Dawn (Jeff) Bell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Butler, Roger Butler and Joey Butler.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 8, 2015, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the C. Z.
