Ralph ‘Gourdy’ Wofford

PARK HILLS – Ralph ‘Gourdy’ Wofford, 78, of Mineral Point passed away February 11, 2015, at Mercy Jefferson Memorial. He was born April 21, 1936 at Elvins, Mo. Ralph was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Andrew Wofford and Anna Mae (Bowen) Wofford; brothers, Billie Joe Wofford and David William Wofford.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Rita (Jenkerson) Wofford of Mineral Point; son, John Paul Wofford of Williamsville, Mo; daughter, Julie Ann Carter and husband Greg of Olympian Village; two grandchildren, Austin Lee Carter and Logan Alexander Carter; two brothers, Jim Eugene Wofford and wife Linda of Schuyler, Nebraska, and Clifton Wayne Wofford and wife Deborah of Fredericktown; nephews, David William Wofford Jr. and Matthew Scott Wofford.
