County, state and federal offices, as well as several city offices, are closed today for Presidents Day.
Tuesday
Farmington R-7 School District
The Farmington R-7 Board of Education meets in regular session at 5 p.m. at the district offices located at 1022 Ste. Genevieve Ave. The meeting is open to the public.
Central R-3 School District
The Central R-3 School District Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in the auditorium at the high school, 116 Rebel Drive, for its regular monthly board meeting. The board typically convenes on the third Monday of the month, but district officials moved the session back one day this month in observance of Presidents Day. Topics to be discussed include student recognition, a vocational enhancement grant, Chromebook bids and bus bids.
City of Leadwood
The City of Leadwood will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. at the Leadwood Firehouse, 1101 Mill St., concerning the town’s plan to upgrade the city water and sewer systems. Tim Robbs of Farmington-based Taylor Engineering, the company heading up the project, will be on hand for the hearing, as will Margaret Yates of the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission, which is acting as the grant administrator. Yates is to give a presentation on the project. A question and answer session will follow.
Bismarck R-5 School Board
The Bismarck R-5 Board of Education meets in regular session at 6 p.m. in the elementary school library. The meeting is open to the public.
Thursday
North County Board of Education
The North County Board of Education meets in regular session at 6 p.m. in the administration offices located at 300 Berry Rd. in Bonne Terre. The meeting is open to the public.
West St. Francois County R-IV School District
The West St. Francois County R-IV School District Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. at the Administrative Office next to West County Middle School, 1124 Main St.
