John Preston Kearns
PARK HILLS — John Preston Kearns, 89, of Park Hills, Missouri, passed away February 17, 2015, at his residence. John was born January 21, 1926, at Esther, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Kearns and Barbara ‘Baker’ Kearns; his wife, Betty Kearns; sisters, Naomi Dalton, Ida Baldwin, Edith Maxson, and Thelma Rhodes, brothers, Pete Kearns and Jim Kearns.
He is survived by his daughters, Ruth Christeson and Sharon (Bruce) McWilliams; grandchildren, Jennifer (Travis) Foshee, Heather Christeson, John (Trish) Christeson, and Racheal Rawson; great grandchildren, Dawson Foshee, Riley Shurtliff, Matt Rawson and Mason Ray; sister-in-law, Linda Kearns; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
A special heartfelt thanks to all the Preferred Hospice staff of Park Hills.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday February 21, 2015, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, with speaker, Jack Marler officiating. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.
