Florence Harris

FARMINGTON — Mrs. Florence Mae ‘White’ Harris, 78, passed away February 21, 2015, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington. Florence was born on February 5, 1937, in Caruthersville, Missouri, and was the daughter of Winfield Schley White and Ora ‘Mann’ White. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Bobby Gene Harris, February 16, 2015; three sisters, Elevene Wyatt; Mildred White and Clarence Clayton. Six brothers, Wilford, Marshall, Hugh, Ernest, Ralph and Lawrence White.

Survivors Include: three children, Kenneth (and Tamara) Harris, of Mount Vernon, Missouri; Steven (and Jane) Harris, of Farmington; and Rebecca Harris, of Farmington.

Two sisters, Veedies Roberts, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Betty Jo May, of St. Peters, Missouri. Also, four grandchildren, Caitlin Harris, of Fairbanks, Alaska; Sahba Harris, of Chicago, Illinois, Matthew Harris, of Farmington, and Katie Harris, of Farmington.

Visitation starts today at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., Farmington with a funeral at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dale Stringer officiating.
