Linda Lou Street
Linda Lou Street, 76, of Fredericktown, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Madison Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1938 in Black, Mo., the daughter of Kenneth L. and Eileen C. (Baker) Adams.
Linda married Earl Ray Street April 23, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Ironton.
Preceding Mrs. Street in death are her parents and sister Melba Wright.
She is survived by her husband; daughters Penny (James) Davis and Angelia Craig, both of Fredericktown; brother Beryl (Carolyn) Adams of Jackson, Mo.; grandchildren James Tripp of Fredericktown, Mindi (Ralph) Williams of Branson, and Austin Craig of Fredericktown; great-grandchildren Aiden, Aubrey, and Ava of Branson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mrs. Street worked in her mother’s beauty shop in Ironton. After getting married she chose to stay home and take care of her husband and later her daughters. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Church.
Funeral services were Feb. 24 at Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating. Burial was at the Walker Cemetery in Fredericktown. Arrangements were handled by Wilson Funeral Home.
