MADISON COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES

February 23, 2015 the Madison County Commission met with the following members present: Presiding Commissioner Bob Mooney, First District Commissioner Tom Stephens and Second District Commissioner Jim Thompson. County Clerk Don Firebaugh recorded the proceedings.

ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT

Road and Bridge Supervisor Gregg Pruett said the department is going back over snow routes, school routes and some other roads that have been reported.

COMMISSIONER REPORTS

Thompson helped set up an emergency shelter at the United Methodist Church last week. He also visited the Madison County Sheriff department.

Stephens attended the National Weather Service briefing last Friday.

Both Thompson and Stephens worked with the Road and Bridge department the past few days on snow removal.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Commissioner Stephens made a motion to approve accounts payable. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Thompson. The motion carried. No further business was transacted Feb. 23, and Mooney adjourned the meeting at 11:15 a.m.
