Jaycee’s Annual Golf Tournament will be held in April
The Ste. Genevieve County Jaycee’s Third Annual Golf Tournament is organized by volunteers from Zell, Ste. Genevieve and Weingarten Jaycee’s. The Jaycee’s are making this an annual event to raise money for a local charity. This year we are donating all proceeds to the Ste. Genevieve County BackPacks for Friday.
BackPacks for Friday is a program that meets the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends. Volunteers fill backpacks with meals and snacks, which are discreetly distributed to children to take home over the weekend and holiday vacation. Children return the backpacks on Monday and the process is repeated throughout the school year. Backpacks are filled with non-perishable, easy-to-open meals, and snacks to feed a family of four for a weekend.
This year’s golf tournament will be held April 25 at the Ste. Genevieve golf course. Cost for the four-person scramble is $340 or $85 per player.
Dinner and raffle will follow the golf tournament at 6 p.m.
Hole Sponsorship $100. Dinner is $15 a plate.
