MADISON COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES

March 2, 2015 the Madison County Commission met with the following members present: Presiding Commissioner Bob Mooney and First District Commissioner Tom Stephens. County Clerk Don Firebaugh recorded the proceedings.

ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT

Road and Bridge Supervisor Gregg Pruett said the department has been busy pushing snow.

COMMISSIONER REPORTS

Stephens met with a TIF developer last week. He also checked on county roads for snow removal progress and visited the Road and Bridge department.

Mooney attended a Solid Waste Management meeting in Perryville. While there, the Solid Waste Grant reviews were discussed and appropriated. He also attended a SEMO Regional Planning meeting in Perryville. Commissioner Mooney attended a meeting at the Juvenile Detention Center in Farmington. He also met with the Environmental Protection Agency and the City of Fredericktown concerning the city lake repository. Mooney met with a TIF developer last week, attended the Madison County Sheriff interview process where three new deputies were hired, and attended the University of Missouri Extension Annual Banquet. He also visited the E-911 department.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Commissioner Stephens made a motion to approve accounts payable. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Mooney. The motion carried. No further business was transacted March 2, and Mooney adjourned the meeting at 11:15 a.m.
