Jefferson College Foundation holds dinner auction
The Jefferson College Foundation is inviting community members and alumni to put on their jazzed up jeans for the 5th annual Jazz & Jeans Dinner, Dance and Auction on April 25 from 6-9 p.m. in the Field House on the Hillsboro campus.
The event raises funds to support scholarships, emergency student loans, assistance with textbook costs, and other projects for students attending Jefferson College.
Guests will enjoy a relaxed evening featuring a social hour (hors d’oeuvres and open bar), dinner, silent auction, live auction, and entertainment by the Jefferson College Jazz Band and student dancers.
For the first time in the event’s history, the silent auction will be operated using a mobile system for bidding through attendees’ cell phones. Bid assistants will be available to place bids on behalf of guests and/or answer any questions about the mobile bidding process. Bidding stations, each with an iPad and bid assistant, will be located in each silent auction section.
The event will also feature a live auction with a limited number of items—including an opportunity to enjoy a one-week stay in a luxurious four bedroom/four bath Kiawah Island Resort home in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Jazz & Jeans tickets are available for $75 per person (tables of 10/$750) and must be purchased in advance at www.jeffco.edu by clicking on the “Jazz & Jeans” logo. The reservation deadline is April 17.
Additional information about sponsorship and auction donation opportunities is available on the Jefferson College website at www.jeffco.edu by clicking on the “Jazz & Jeans” logo.
