Elizabeth “”Betty”” Buehner

Lily Elizabeth “Betty” Buehner, 82, of Ste. Genevieve, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 10, 1933 in St. Louis, the daughter of Theodore M. and Margaret L. (Swofford) Wright.

She married Richard Buehner Sept. 26, 1964 in Fredericktown. He precedes her in death. 

Also preceding Mrs. Buehner in death are her parents and one grandchild.

Survivors include children Dorothy Ann Weston-McClanahan of Ste. Genevieve; Marjorie Louise Anthony of Columbia; Glenda Kohm of Perryville; Betty Jean Haas of St. Peters; and Rick Buehner of St. Louis; sisters Loma Skaggs, Mable Westmoreland, Sybil Lynn, and Sally Lynn all of Fredericktown, Katie Spence of St. Louis and Opal Bryant; brother Pete Wright of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were March 22 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor David Parmley officiating. Burial was at Snowdenville Cemetery.
