Veda Maxine Myers

Veda Maxine Myers, 90, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in Fenton. She was born August 28, 1924 in Marquand, the daughter of Jesse Wilbur and Della (Rickman) Dees.

She married Jessie “Jake” Myers Sept. 1, 1946 in Poplar Bluff. He precedes her in death.

Also preceding Mrs. Myers in death are her parents; and brothers Antone Dees and Raymond Dees.

Survivors include daughters Sue (Gary) Settle, Kay (Harold) Settle, and Debbie (Carl) Myers; grandchildren Vickie Settle, Emily (Tim) McGuire, and John (Jennifer) Settle; great-grandchildren Cameron Settle, Collin Settle, and Caitlyn McGuire.

Mrs. Myers was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were May 2 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Johnson officiating. Burial was at Marcus Memorial Park.
