Joyce Sue Christos
Joyce Sue Christos, 69, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Cape Girardeau. She was born May 31, 1945 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, daughter of David Rose and Esther (Holton) Cook.
She married David Terry Christos Sr. June 17, 1964 in Maryland, and was married for 50 years.
Mrs. Christos was preceded in death by her parents; brother David Cook; and sister Brenda Cook.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David; children Jewell, David, Karl and Ruth; Grandchildren Amanda, Tiffany, Michael, Catherine, Andrew, Jesse, Jonathan, Matthew, Priscilla, Ruthie, Joyce, Skylar, James, Lane, Jaeger, Zekaryah and Marcus; Great grandchildren Ava, Bryan, Elizabeth and Phoenix; and two unborn grandbabies (one is Catherine’s and one is Matthew’s); siblings Lois (Harry) Gandy, Sharron (Lary) Moore, Donna Shestakoff, Jimmy Cook, Lourdes Cook; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held June 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at God’s Country Cowboy Church in Fredericktown.
