Officers respond to report of gunshot victim

Law enforcement has been dispatched to an address on Mitchell Road for a reported gunshot victim.

Initial information from the scene gave indication that it was not a suicide attempt. There was a report of a disturbance at the address at the same time.

Officers from Desloge were called to assist as county deputies headed to the scene. A few minutes later it was reported that a weapon had been confiscated.

As of 6 p.m. officers were looking for a suspect who had fled into a wooded area near the address of the disturbance.
