Post 150 Sr. Legion routs Rock Memorial

STE. GENEVIEVE – Daniel Bergtholdt registered 10 strikeouts over six scoreless innings, and the Ste. Genevieve Post 150 Senior Legion baseball team rolled past Rock Memorial 10-3 on Tuesday night.

Andy Grieshaber had a triple and double, and Koltyn Schilly netted three RBI on a double and sacrifice fly in a game that saw each team total seven hits.

Ste. Genevieve (10-5) scored four times in the second and third innings to build a 10-0 advantage, and received 10 walks from Rock Memorial pitching.

Bergtholdt, who allowed four hits and three walks, finished 2-for-4 with two RBI at the plate for Post 150. Drew Schmelzle scored a team-high three runs.

Eric Biggerstaff had a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning, and Zach Stamps singled twice for Rock Memorial.
