Fredericktown Swim Club prepares for final meet
The Fredericktown Swim Club held one of its practices leading up to its final swim meet of the season held at Memorial Pool at 6 p.m., Tuesday (after press time).
The members have work-outs at the pool under the direction of the coach Renae Adams Monday through Thursday from 10:15 a.m. to noon. Swimmers are divided into two groups according to age. The team members competed against themselves in weekly meets throughout the month of June. They are making plans for next year already.
Coach Adams says, “We may move our swim club session to a later time during the summer next year.”
She explained that it would be to try to better accommodate summer school and vacations.
