Alice Minks

DESLOGE — Alice Lucille Minks, 73 of Park Hills passed away July 11, 2015, at Parkland Liberty Hospital. She was born April 16, 1942, in Cantwell to the late Herman and Irene (Barks) Stokes.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Lloyd Minks; three brothers, LeRoy (Betty) Stokes, Bill (Betty) Stokes, and Cecil (Clara) Stokes; sister-in-law Kate Chamberlain.

Alice is survived by two sons, James (Carrie) Minks, and Kevin Minks; daughter, Sherry Roberts; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bertha (Don) Sirclum, Pauline Tindall, Gladys Douglas, and Mary Pinkley; three brothers, Dave (Joan) Stokes, Joe Stokes, and Harry (Judy) Stokes; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 14, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Dennis Minks officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
