Kids have a blast learning about science at the library

The Mad Science program at the library was well attended Friday afternoon in the library meeting room.

“Forty-two kids and 19 adults came to enjoy the Mad Science Program,” Branch Manager Bill Knight said. “We had the program last year and it was popular so we invited them back this year.”

Mad Science is a good way for children to have fun while learning about science. Library staff wants

to teach local children that the library is a fun place to visit.

The Mad Science presenter is Doctor Quasar from Mad Science Group Inc. in St. Louis and puts on live science shows at public venues on invitation.

During the next Story Time entitled, Community Heroes children will learn about everyday heroes, play a game, and create a miniature sized hero. It will be July 23 at 2 p.m. at Ozark Regional Library on South Main St.

Please call the Fredericktown branch at 573-783-2120 for more information about these or other library happenings.
