Betty Jean Heath

Betty Jean Heath, 77, of Silva, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Greenville Nursing Home in Greenville, Mo. She was born Nov. 21, 1937 in Gipsy, Mo, daughter of James Oscar and Gladys Ann (Schanks) Durham.

She married Joseph Marvin Heath June 1, 1955.

Mrs. Heath is preceded in death by her parents; sons Joseph Gene and Louis Edward Heath; brother J.C. Durham; and sisters baby Durham and Zilla Miller.

Survivors include her husband; brother Robert (Lorene) Durham of St. Charles; nine nieces and nephews; and nine great-nephews and nieces.

She worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Piedmont for several years. She enjoyed singing, crocheting, and making decorations. Mrs. Heath attended the Oak Dale Church in Coldwater, Mo.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 22 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Gipson and Bro. Gary Haynes officiating. Burial was at the Antiock Cemetery in Lodi, Mo. Pallbearers were: David Randolph, Tommy Leach, Leonard Heath, P.J. Miller Jr., Michael Allen, and Jim Tibbs.
