Teens injured in crash
Two teenagers were injured in a crash on Hillsboro Road just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amber Bock, 16, received serious injuries and was taken to Children’s Hospital by Air Evac. Her passenger, Samantha Landers, 18, of Farmington, was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center-Weber Road for moderate injuries.
Reports state Bock was driving a 2003 Ford Focus north of Eagle Court. When she crossed the railroad tracks at a high rate of speed, the vehicle became airborne, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
They were wearing seat belts.
